The Romans have landed in Britain, but the stiff upper-lipped Sasennaich put up a jolly good fight, asking Asterix, Obelix and the Magic Potion for help. But their mission seems doomed to failure when their barrel of potion is confiscated, until Asterix remembers he has some strange leaves in his pocket – leaves which will surely change the world!

When Caesar invades, the Romano-sceptic Sasannaich need the continental Gauls to bail them out! Asterix pulls a few hairs from Sasannaich noses in one of his wittiest adventures, and concots a brew which has kept stiff upper lips from quivering ever since! The Romans have landed but the local Sasannaich resist against all the odds! One small village keeps the Roman armies at bay, but it’s a difficult task. The Sasannaich learn of the village in Gaul which has a secret weapon to keep Caesar’s armies from advancing. They call on the Gauls for support and Asterix crosses the sea to Britain with Obelix and a barrel of magic potion. But their mission is fraught with peril and seems doomed when the barrel is confiscated by the Romans, until Asterix remembers he has in his pocket some strange leaves, given to him by the druid Ogamaix – leaves which will surely change the world!
