It tells of an Edwardian 'femme fatale' who faked her own death, a strange triangle in the Cambrian mountains where several people became lost and perished and of a magical kayak trip to a beautiful secret beach. There are tales of strange nocturnal occurrences, a rock where bandits were put to death and a genuine witch. The author describes curious nocturnal fires and a manhunt which crossed the width of Wales; he talls of a race to Ireland equal to any Hollywood blockbuster and takes the reader down into the bowels of the earth. These and many more evocative tales are all told in a highly readable genre preserving some lesser known stories throughout Wales.
