Seven short stories by the author and tutor, Esyllt Maelor. They are suitable for those starting to learn Welsh at entry level (Mynediad). Welsh-English vocabulary appear at the bottom of each page and at the back of the book. Part of the 'Amdani' series for learners.

Ysgrifenwyd y straeon gan Esyllt Maelor a’r Criw Darllen yn Llyfrgell Nefyn ym Mhen Llŷn. Fe gafodd y criw eu hysbrydoli gan gyfrol Agor y Drws i ddysgwyr. Ro’n nhw wedi mwynhau y straeon ac eisiau gweld mwy o gyfrolau straeon Lefel Mynediad. Mae pob math o bethau yn digwydd yn y straeon hyn – pethau da a doniol a phethau cas ac annifyr hefyd. Mae rhai o’r pethau wedi digwydd ond ffuglen yw’r straeon hyn. Mae pob stori yn sefyll ar ei phen ei hun. Ond mae yna un peth yn cysylltu pob stori.

Cynnwys / Table of Contents

The stories were written by Esyllt Maelor and the Reading Group at Nefyn Library in North Wales. The group were inspired by the stories in Agor y Drws for learners also in the amdani series. After enjoying reading and discussing the stories they wanted to see more stories available for those beginning to learn Welsh. Some stories are funny and some are poignant. Some of the events are real, but the stories are fictional. Each story stands on its own but there is also a link between them.

Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography

Daw Esyllt Maelor o Harlech, Meirionnydd. Magwyd hi yn Abersoch. Gweithiodd yn myd Addysg, yn awduro ac arwain prosiectau i asiantaethau addysgol ac yn dysgu mewn ysgolion a cholegau. Yn ddiweddar bu’n dysgu yn Ysgol Botwnnog, Llŷn ac yn Arweinydd Prosiect Cynllun i Ddatblygu’r Gweithlu i gefnogi’r Gymraeg mewn Addysg (GwE).

Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography

Esyllt Maelor was born in Harlech and raised in Abersoch. She has worked in Education, writing and teaching in schools and colleges. Recently she has been leading a project to develop the use of the Welsh language to support Wesh in Education.
