Angharad Price is a novelist, essayist and playwright. Her novel O, Tyn y Gorchudd won the Prose Medal at the 2002 National Eisteddfod and was named Wales Book of the Year in 2003. It was translated into English as The Life of Rebecca Jones . Her novels, Caersaint and Nelan a Bo , were shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year, as was her collection of essays, Ymbapuroli . Her play Nansi was produced by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru. She is also the author of acclaimed studies on Welsh literature and is Professor of Welsh and Creative Writing at Bangor University.
