Here we have a triangle of family tensions, as three characters attempt to navigate problems that are completely relevant to our society today. The focus of the play is Laura's struggle to deal with her relationship with the two boys who live in a close-knit village community. Laura however sees Steff's sudden appearance as being a threat to their relationship. Meic Povey's powerful drama deals sensitively with the themes that have always interested him, namely guilt and hypocrisy. The play is among the set texts for the AS Drama specification.
