Through many years Frances has observed the changing seasons, the turning of the year and the deep delights of the natural world around her. Mainly taken on the family farm in the Waveney Valley in Suffolk, these images touch many aspects of the local birds and mammals. Her patient dedication has given us a window into the life of the countryside.

Frances Crickmore is a wildlife photographer based in Norfolk. Being an avid photographer since her teens, France’s work has been featured in publications such as Country Life Magazine and The Sunday Times. Jane Russ is the author and series editor of the popular Nature Book series which combines fascinating insight into the nature, myth and legend and art and literature of each animal focused on.
