To celebrate his tercentenary, Free Verse is an anthology of poems responding to the legacy and ideas of freethinker Dr Richard Price (1722-91) which both scrutinise and channel his legacy as one of the most undervalued architects of the modern world.

Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography

Damian Walford Davies is Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Cardiff University. His poetry collections include Suit of Lights (2009), Witch (2012), Judas (2015), Docklands (2019) and Viva Bartali! (2023), all published by Seren. His academic work focuses on the relation between literature and political culture in the Romantic period. Kevin Mills is Professor of English Literature at University of South Wales. He has published three poetry collections, three monographs and many essays and chapters on literary topics. A study of myth and ancient narratives (Bloomsbury) will appear in 2024. He is currently working on a collection of ballads and songs.
