Derek Brockway is a Welsh meteorologist employed by the Met Office and based at BBC Wales in Cardiff. The book’s co-author Martin Aaron donned his official pair of BBC walking boots in 2009 when he began accompanying the Weatherman Walking crew as a photographer and mapper, writing up the routes for the viewers at home to enjoy.
