Myrrha Stanford-Smith is 82, and was born and brought up in Brighton. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and worked in professional theatre and as a teacher before retiring to the Isle of Anglesey, where she founded the Ucheldre Repetory Company. Sea of Troubles is the second novel in her acclaimed Nicholas Talbot adventure trilogy.
