Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography
Margaret Iggulden was born in Monmouthshire and taught English overseas in PNG, Kenya and the Middle East. She has now settled near the Wye Valley. Margaret has written many ELT course books and readers. Sam on Radio 32, published by Longmans, Pearson, her first book, was written for primary pupils. Seren Wib, was published in 1997 by Gwasg y Dref Wen, and as Who Wants to be a star by Longmans. Chance of a Lifetime, African Adventure and The Sacrifice, all readers for young adults learning English, were published by Pearson and OUP. After many years lecturing at Oxford University, Margaret has been focusing on her new children's eco-historical fantasy series. It was when visiting the many abbeys and castles in Wales, that she was inspired to write these time travelling tales, set in locations around the country. Spirals of Time, a quest to save the Planet, was thus created.
