Bywgraffiad yr Awdur / Author Biography

Robin Gwyndaf is originally from Uwchaled, near Corwen. He is an expert in the field of Folk Literature and is the author of over 15 books. He was co-founder and the first Chair of the Llafar Gwlad Society and was also Chair of the Welsh Folk Song Society.

The volume also addresses old Welsh customs such as Calennig, the Mari Lwyd, Gwaseila, Hunting the Wren and the Caseg Fedi. The original volume was extremely popular and was reprinted several times by the National Museum Wales.
